Elected Fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors, Richard Stone is a London based multi-media artist who received an MA from Central Saint Martins and is represented by galleries in the UK and Austria. His works can be found in collections in the UK, Europe and the United States.
He is currently included in the museum exhibition Nature Morte, curated by Michael Petry, based on the Thames & Hudson book of the same name. Having already toured to Norway, 2015, Sweden, 2016 and Poland, February - May 2017, it returns to the Guildhall London, September 2017 - January 2018.
The work In The Shade of the Magnolias was cast and reconfigured in Italy from twelve parts, over four months at the world-renowned Fonderia Mariani, during a tenure supported by the Royal British Society and Brian Mercer Charitable Trust, it also includes a fallen petal floor elements. Simultaneously figurative and abstract, Other Windows for Other Souls was carved in carrara marble from Pietrasanta, Italy.
