Dido Crosby is a sculptor living and working in London, taking commissions in bronze, cast iron, ceramics and wood. After a zoology degree at Oxford University, a welding diploma at Poplar and a second BA in Sculpture at Central St Martin’s, Crosby is pursuing a lifetime’s interest in animals with a fascination for form and function, and making things.

Crosby has a series of life-sized cast iron pieces at Acton Court, a Tudour banqueting hall in Iron Acton, a larger than life-sized bronze horse over looking Loch Fyne at Dunderave Castle in Scotland and a bronze gazelle in a sculpture park in Liguria, Italy. Other pieces in public collections include a pair of Indian Runner Ducks bought by Prudential, a skeleton reconstruction and life-sized sculpture of a manatee in a natural history museum in Puerto Rico and a carved wooden dragon’s head in a garden for visually impaired children in Bristol.

Crosby’s work is exhibited at Jagged Art in Marylebone, London, The Campden Gallery, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, and Big/Small, Casual in New York.
