Seeberger | Summer Landscape

Seeberger - Summer Landscape

Oil on Canvas
Circa 1890
Conditions: Minimal craquelure, somewhat restored on the lower-left corner, framed with gold stucco frames

Seeberger was a German painter. His life as an artist remains shrouded in mystery, but his works can be found in collector’s homes and auction houses around the world.

Seeberger’s painting ‘Summer Landscape’ portrays a partially lit valley with two figures in the foreground walking towards a hamlet of homes, built beside a stream. The hamlet resides in front of a view of trees and steep mountains – possibly a scene of the Alps.
