Alfonso Frasnedi

Frasnedi was born in Bologna in 1934 and studied fine arts with Virgilio Guidi at the local Accademia Di Belle Arti. He began exhibiting his works from a very young age. In 1956 he participated at the Venice Biennale and during the following year he penetrated the history of art through the volume by Tristan Sauvage, Pittura Italiana del Dopoguerra (Postwar Italian Painting).

From that moment he started collaborations for groups exhibitions, gaining several awards such as the Modigliani Prize and the Presidenza del Senato Prize during the Settimana Cesenate.
