This service is structured so to guide students with the editing and translation of their written statements. This includes a personal statement for either their Foundation, BA or MA applications, written descriptions of the portfolios and of every project or artwork. In particular, we guide students to use the appropriate terminology to enhance their quality of their writing.

We are here to help to:

• Mentor you with the editing of your personal statement
• Target specific terminologies and narratives for your projects and/or artworks
• Assist you through translation processes if you are applying from outside of the UK
• Editing fonts and visual appeal of your text in order to enhance the visual impact of your body of work

The idea at the foundation of this service is to help students who already have an extensive body of physical work and need guidance with photographic documentation. Your sketchbook is of vital importance during the process of selection carried out by art universities. In particular, our professional tutors will assist you in the process of taking photos of your work with high quality pieces of equipment and facilities. Moreover, you will be assisted throughout the process of editing and selection of your photographic material in order to create as strong body of work.

Digital Portfolio Preparation

 

This Course is designed for those that may have a physical body of work already and need to arrange and organise it but also need to create a digital portfolio to submit for their Foundation, BA or MA applications. Remember that digital portfolios are the first step before the interview process itself. It is therefore important that you have a professional digital body of work in order to achieve the interview stage. At the same time, every college and university has different requirements in what they want to see in a digital portfolio.

We will assist you with the preparation of selecting images and their layouts starting from your photographic material taken from both your sketchbooks and your physical portfolio. In particular we will assist the student using high standard software such as Adobe’s Creative Cloud Software to enhance the final product.

We are here to help you to:

• Go through your body of work in order to select material for your digital portfolio
• Prepare digital layouts
• Target the requirements of every university’s processes of selection from your five choices
• Comprehend editorial processes using software such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

 

Please note that we cannot provide you with the Adobe software and you will need your own images and projects in order to develop and create a digital arrangement of your work.
