BASIC PORTFOLIO PACKAGE

During this course you will focus on developing ideas and learning how to express them using a variety of media. You will also work alongside your assigned tutor to assemble these new projects in a portfolio.

This short portfolio course will allow you to prepare few high standard projects for your portfolio. You will also explore incredible new techniques, materials to develop your own concepts and ideas.

You will be provided with one to one sessions where you can go through the structure and purpose of your portfolio. During the group lessons you will have time to revise, develop, and expand the projects you will be working on during your one to one sessions.

For your reference, you can book one to one classes between the following times:

Mon-Fri: between 10am - 6pm (last class beginning at 4pm)
Sat-Sun:
between 10am - 5pm (last class beginning at 3pm)

HOW TO BOOK


Once you purchase a course, you have to create an online account where we can top up your art lessons. You will then be able to book the lessons included in your course within the timeframe of the duration of your course (e.g. 1 month). You will be able to add additional one to one or group classes if you require more than the minimum to complete the course.

1. Purchase your portfolio course below.

2. Create a personal online account (link here). The lessons will be transferred there, (please allow a maximum of 24hr for them to be transferred). You can access your account via the ‘My Account’ portal on the top right corner of this website.

3. Email us (info@sunnyartcentre.co.uk), call us (02086165990) or use our Online Chat to activate your course on your account and you'll be able to book your first lesson with us. Please quote your order number (e.g. #12345) when you contact us. Bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling of classes require a minimum 48H notice.

Additional Services


This service has been created in order to help students that already have both a physical and digital portfolio yet need a professional assessment of it. Our tutors will guide you through every page and review your portfolio projects. They will assist you in reorganising your portfolio in order to build a fully coherent body of work, maximising your chances to obtain interviews during your application process. This opportunity gives you the ability to cultivate confidence in your work and will enhance your portfolio during the selection processes carried out by universities.

 

INTERVIEW SUPPORT

Our professional team will prepare you for the interview process, advising you on the most frequently asked questions during an interview and will test you during mock interviews. This will give you an opportunity to strengthen your confidence and know more about how interviews are held.

EDITORIAL SERVICE

This service is structured so to guide students with the editing and translation of their written statements. This includes support with a personal statement for either a Foundation, BA or MA application, written descriptions and statement of the portfolio and of every project or artwork included in it. In particular, we guide students to use the appropriate terminology to enhance the quality of their writing.

Overall, we will:

  • Mentor you with the editing of your personal statement
  • Target specific terminologies and narratives for your projects and/or artworks
  • Assist you with translations and language issues if you are applying from outside of the UK

DIGITAL PORTFOLIO SERVICE

£1,500.00 (exc. VAT)

We will assist you with the preparation of selecting images and their layouts starting from your photographic material taken from both your sketchbooks and finished projects. In particular we will assist the student using high standard software such as Adobe’s Creative Cloud to enhance the final product.

Remember that digital portfolios are the first thing many universities see, sometimes even before the interview process itself. It is then important that you have a professional digital body of work. At the same time, every college / university has different requirements in what they want to see in a digital portfolio.

Overall, we will:

  • Go through your body of work in order to select the appropriate material for your digital portfolio
  • Help with rendering your projects in digital format with the help of our photography team
  • Support you during the preparation of digital layouts
  • Help you with the targeting of the specific requirements of every university from your five choices and edit your work accordingly
  • Help you comprehend editorial processes using software such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
