'Art has always been my passion but it wasn't until the year 2000 that I discovered the ideal form of expression for my work; sculpture and bronze statues. Within a relatively short period of time, I created my own personal style. The theme of my work is ‘the woman’, an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Working without model or photo, I juxtapose dichotomies like simplicity and exaggeration, delicateness and robustness, resulting in elegant positions in what appear to be frozen movement. Natural forms with a touch of humour. I am searching out the limits of the aesthetic without compromising my desire for harmony and elegance, which make the work of art even more powerful. Since 2003, I have also been teaching sculpture in my workshop "Atelier La Salamandre".'
