Roman frescos retrieved from villas such as those in Pompeii shows how painting the Natural beauty has been at the core of visual culture for thousands of years. Both Western and Eastern societies have developed throughout centuries very distinct landscape styles. It became a recognised genre here as well during the Romanticism with artists such as Turner and Constable, following the efforts of Northern Renaissance masters.

Today historians are even able to discern traces of nationalism in landscapes by identifying the specific plants and natural greens chosen for the depictions (as many species grow only in specific countries). You would just have to choose a destination, and we will take care of everything else.

We will arrange either a drawing or painting workshop in our studio environment at the Sunny Art Centre, where you can escape the busy office life and get creative.
