Located in our central Covent Garden art studio, this engaging and educational programme is perfect for beginners and young artists who want to build solid artistic foundations during the summer holidays.

A Strong Foundation in Drawing and Painting Techniques
Our Kids & Teens Summer Art Course is designed to give young artists (ages 7–17) a solid grounding in the fundamental skills of drawing and painting. We focus on developing core techniques that form the essential building blocks of any successful art practice, whether for personal growth or future academic study.
Core Skills We Teach:
For our Summer Art Courses, all materials are included for your child to use during their lessons—no need to bring anything! However, if your child has favourite tools or a personal sketchbook they'd like to work with, they’re more than welcome to bring their own.
This summer art course is a certified programme. Upon completing the course, all participants will receive an official Certificate of Completion from Sunny Art Centre.
The certificate recognises each student’s achievement in mastering fundamental drawing and painting techniques inspired by the Old Masters. It’s a meaningful milestone for young artists and a valuable addition to any future art portfolio or school application.
Portfolio Support: For older students, we offer expert advice and mentoring on building a strong portfolio for GCSE, A-level, foundation courses, or scholarship applications.
Open to children and teens aged 7 to 17 years.
Your child’s safety is our priority. All tutors and staff working with children hold enhanced DBS checks, and classes take place in a secure, supervised, and supportive environment.
